About

If you are looking for more information on Natural Childbirth, Breastfeeding or Cloth-Diapering then you’ve come to the right place. I’m passionate about all of those things. More importantly, I’m passionate about helping women find the information they need to make truly INFORMED DECISIONS for themselves and their families.

My name is Christy. I am a SAHM to 2 gorgeous little boys, born Oct ’07 & Sep ’09, and wife to an amazing, devoted husband.  I just had to have an outlet for all the research and reading I’ve done on the topics listed above, especially since I get asked questions about them on a fairly regular basis (and because my husband is probably tiring of hearing about them ad nauseam). I’m kidding about the husband part because, believe it or not, my husband has nearly as much knowledge on these topics as I do. A far cry from the place we were in just a little over 3 years ago. I’ll start with that story…..read it HERE and HERE.

I’ve had the pleasure of breastfeeding both of my boys. The first, until he self-weaned at 16 months (when I was 8 weeks pregnant with the second). My second baby has been breastfeeding since the day he was born, back in September 2009. I’ve shared a bit about why I breastfeed HERE and my struggle with breastfeeding HERE.

By the time Baby #1 was 5-months-old he was cloth-diapered full-time. His baby brother has been cloth-diapered from the moment we came home from the hospital. More about how we ended up cloth-diapering our kids HERE.

I know everyone won’t agree with everything I write here. That’s ok. I just want to bring to light facts that have been ignored for far too long in our society.

Most importantly, I’m passionate about Jesus Christ, my relationship with Him and seeking ways to glorify God in ALL I do.
